BOND's final summer social before visiting undergraduates returned to their home institutions.
FUTURE Ignited
BOND participated in the FUTURE Ignited program to introduce Caltech and graduate school to bright early career scientists, answering questions about graduate life, applications, and everything in between.

To welcome the incoming class of graduate students, CGSC and BOND hosted a social.
CCID x BOND Steminar + Book Talk: Dr. Jessica Hernandez
CCID and BOND were honored to host Dr. Jessica Hernandez (Binnizá/Zapotec & Maya Ch'ortĂ), who discussed with Caltech community members her book, Growing Papaya Trees: Nurturing Indigenous Roots During Climate Displacement. The event included lunch, a coffee hour, and a seminar.
Day of Inclusion
In 2025, BOND hosted the second edition of Day of Inclusion, with the theme - A Place at the Table: Making Space for Every Voice in Science. We were joined by Dr. Minkara and Dr. Jeffries-EL as our keynote speakers.
2026 CGSC Industry Seminar Coffee Hour
Graduate students joined the CGSC Industry seminar speaker, Kevin Campos, VP of Merck Process R&D, for coffee and pastries!
Summer Student Social #2: Pizza + Networking
BOND's second summer social for visiting undergraduates, featuring pizza and information on networking in STEM.
All Members Coffee Hour
BOND held a coffee hour for community members to kick off the academic year.
Lab Tours Day
BOND hosted students from Cerritos, Fullerton, PCC, and Cal Poly Pomona to tour labs, learn about Caltech summer programs, and explore chemistry research.
2025 CGSC Industry Seminar Coffee Hour
Graduate students joined speakers Dr. Yongchau Su (Merck, Principal Scientist) and Dr. Laura Blue (Amgen, Director CMC) over coffee.
East College Prep Field Trip (with WiC)
BOND and WiC hosted students from East College Prep, a local high school, for a field trip on Caltech campus. Students explored campus, toured labs in CCE and BBE, and heard from undergraduates about the college experience.
BOND Movie Night: The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks
BOND hosted a movie night to kick off the term.
LA Pride Parade Collab
BOND joined forces with organizations across Caltech to bring Caltech researchers and students to the LA Pride Parade.
